What must a café or restaurant display on the premises?

At the entrance a sign with the type (and category) of the establishment as per the licence and a notice of opening hours, which you must keep to. Inside a price list (menu and drinks list) available to guests, with all prices you stick to; for accommodation the tourist tax amount in the price list too. A legible and accurate receipt for every guest. A notice on how to file a complaint, a reply within 15 days, a record kept for a year. Fine 660 to 3,980 € (art. 46). Checked by the State Inspectorate (tourism inspection).

Every hospitality business: café, bar, restaurant, pizzeria, accommodation, whether a trade or a company.

What to do?

2. Enough copies of the price list and menu; for accommodation add the tourist tax amount.
3. The complaints notice visibly displayed; reply within 15 days, record kept for a year.
